Summer XP (Experience) is Emerge Berkeley’s fresh take on Vacation Bible School, created for kids entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. Hosted by Emerge Berkeley Kids & Epic Youth, this summer experience combines music, creative expression (including arts & crafts), recreation (including sports), and Bible-based teaching to help kids and youth encounter God through every part of their day. 

And the best part? Every week brings a new adventure and unique ways to explore who God is and who they are in Christ. The goal is simple: to help children and youth encounter God in a way they can understand and enjoy. Summer XP creates space for growth in faith, friendships, and daily rhythms that build confidence and character.

SummerXP Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: Full Day: 9 am-3 pm | Half-Day: 9 am-12 pm

At the Summer XP, your child is cared for by a team of passionate, trained, and background-checked leaders who are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and faith-filled environment.

Our staff includes educators, ministry leaders, and student mentors who bring energy, compassion, and creativity to every day. Team members are CPR and First Aid certified and have completed training in child safety, behavior guidance, and group engagement. 

From morning rally to afternoon dismissal, our staff is present, prepared, and invested in helping every child feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow.

The weekly cost for Emerge Kids & Youth Summer XP is $250 per child (full-day)/$145 per child (half-day), with a one-time $50 registration fee to reserve your spot. 

Optional Add-ons: Before Care (7:00–9:00 AM): $125/weekly | After Care (3:00–7:00 PM): $150/weekly
